To JK or not to JK -update

I spoke to the school. It seems we will meet resistance from the school if we want to enroll Ben in JK next year instead of this year. It will require meeting with the principal next year as the school requires that the children be placed "age-appropriately". The school also mentioned that when we register Ben that we must identify him as a special needs child immediately. That freaked me out a bit. I shouldn't have used my real name when I called.
